A beautiful Spring day here. Sewing will take a holiday today in favor of getting outside to stroll about a bit. At least some of us will “stroll” and others will get to other tasks! For me, it’s checking on what’s growing.
The strawberries seem to have done a good job of making it through another winter. This is 1 of several spots for them.
The rhubarb is beautiful at this time of year and the most sweet. I see a dessert in my /our future. And a few Spring flowers have made an
appearance, although covering them from the frost did ‘smoosh’ them a bit! Inside the house I switch over to some more summery themed wall quilts, also.
My favorite time of the whole year. Green has always been a favorite/preferred color and today just glows GREEN!!! On to enjoy the day……Spring blessings!….

Happy spring! I’m still a little Leary of spring being here. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop!
I am with ya on that! Last year we had 10″+ on April 15/16!!!!! But, the rest of my tulips are in bloom and I picked more rhubarb this morning. A bit blustery but nice, mostly cloudy. Off to work on the whole cloth;-b Have an awesome day and thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Doreen
I need to work on my whole cloth before Wednesday. Just rather do something else. But I don’t want to get behind.
Just took a break from that project to make a little something for g.grand daughter. Her first Spring bunny! Got bread baked and some laundry done this morning, now, back to the micro stippling!!!!! That technique and bifocals do NOT play well together!LOL! We must “keep on keeping on”, as a friend of mine used to admonish me!! Hugs, D
I have to take my bifocals off to read or sew. Think it’s time for an exam!!
Yup……totally with ya, except I had an exam not that long ago!-b
