How do you spell ‘quilting time’?…….

For right now it’s spelled: ‘Winter Storm Warning’! I seriously have kept telling myself that maybe this will, somehow, miss us!!! Irrational thought???? Absolutely! The storm pattern keeps getting updates/adjustments but the wrong direction!!

March 3 snow forecast

If you locate the ‘L’ in La Crosse, we are located at the outside ‘point’ of the 90 degree angle of that letter. Make any sense? Well, by tomorrow we will be under a very large snowflake(s)! So, if I’m not heard from in a while, send the huskies!!!!! With shovels, plows, tractor, ATV, snowblower (tractor mounted and walk-behind) at the ready………..

May it not get worse. Stay warm. Be BLESSED, Mtetar

  3. Jeanne says:

We are south of you a ways in the same band. We did have quite a blizzard in December right before Christmas (about 14 -18″). It might be time for another! Of course, every ‘storm’ is really hyped this winter so maybe we’ll only get an inch! Stay warm! ~Jeanne

Will be thinking of you “down there”! Watched the 5:30 news and they aren’t sure if it will be warm enough for some of the precip to be rain/sleet. I agree, though, it is a bit much to post storm alerts 36hrs + before it even exists!!!! Especially weird since their accuracy has been less than stellar!!! Will be in touch, I am sure!!. D

  4. Oh, and if any of you have huskies, send them northwest to Fargo to deliver a college student to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. We do not need Interstate 94 from Fargo to the Cities to be closed anytime on Tuesday. Got that. Keep those snow gates open, please.

Stay safe and snug and warm, Doreen.

Hope you don’t get too much of the white stuff Doreen, just enough to keep you from doing anything but quilt. Well making lovely biscuits and eating chilli in the quilting breaks. Will be thinking about you and Jeanne and hoping you will both be safe.

  6. Looks like you are bang in the middle of the snow. Stay warm and safe Doreen! Avis x
