QOV (quilt of valor) completions!!! Sandwiched it this morning……..kinda slow on the uptake today! The coffee at breakfast took a titch longer (to drink-not to make!)……I expect that in the next few days we will keep the coffee at the ready! Our temps are going to be crazy for the next week to the point that our governor (Mark Dayton, MN) has closed the schools on Monday!!!!! Anyhow…….back to quilting!! The pattern for this one is from a workshop I did last April called “Disappearing 4-patch with a Twist” and can be found here and here and here and here (with the pattern link). To help with the idea of pin-wheel movement, I stitched it with a swirl.
I used Connecting Threads Essential Pro Poly thread in the top and bobbin. The color is “Turkey Red”.
Tomorrow is ‘pack up the decorations’ day. The temps are supposed to be “reasonable” so bringing the totes in from the garage is possible. Tear it down/pack it up/take it out! Then on to the next quilt!!!!!
Til next time…….stay warm…..stay safe……………
