To yesterday’s post. Some loopy funky flowers and a bit of ruler work, squared up and done!! Wonderfully bright, vibrant, summery and warm!!!!!!!! The colors aren’t quite this ‘golden’ but I love the warmth of this photo as the sun comes in through the window and streams across the quilt.
The stitching done in the floral areas really is not super visible but the texture is amazing!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this more ‘mod’ look and will be looking for ways to use it in the future…..for sure!!!! The thread used in the top is a German brand called Rheingold in ‘copper’. It’s 40wt poly and has a lovely sheen. It’s by Madeira Thread Co. and I had picked this cone up while shopping at Knight’s Quilt Shop, in Maine, last October. The bobbin, once again, is Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly in ‘natural’.
Now, let me see what’s next……………………..
