Forecast: rain/T-storm to change over to snow at 3:00pm and it did…….well, it was 2:40, but it happened. It’s snowing huge flakes and we don’t have to go anywhere!!! Yay!!!!!
Quilting today was awesome!!!! The carnation quilt is well underway………………………….
Can you tell I’m excited about this quilt??? I love it!!! Do you see that little flower?? A bit new for me. Again, the quilt ‘spoke’ to me and showed me this little motif in that charm square…… (check it out in this photo below)…………do you see it??????……… I combined it with a swirly vine variation.
The texture on this quilt is so nice with the wool batt I’m using.
That’s it for today. A glass of homemade peach wine and a ham/zucchini quiche for supper. Later…………………………..
the quilt is beautiful and the supper sounds divine!
😀
I love the colors of this quilt! Quilting is looking beautiful.
Hmmm…homemade wine and quiche sounds great!
It was an awesome end to a great indoor day!!!!!
I even had a glass of wine, albeit not homemade, with soup last evening. My reward for an hour of snow shoveling.
I can see why you love this quilt.
😀
It looks great so far.
Loving this quilt and the quilting! Perfect way to spend a snowy day!!
A “blowy” day here. The winds howled last night….maybe 8″ of snow that’s constantly being rearranged!!! LOL! Another great quilting day (when isn’t it?????)! Hugs…….
Love it Doreen – and love the flower motif. Isn’t it neat how you can study something and see that little flower stand out – I did one similar in my watercolor Christmas tree. Watch out for that peach wine!! lol
LOL! Yup!! I put that little flower in my sketch book for future reference. Thanks for stopping by!!!!!! Hugs……..
great quilting
Thanks so much, kiddo!!!!!! Hugs…………….
I love the colors of this quilt, beautiful as always. DInner sounds splendid…enjoy 🙂
It was wonderful and easy!!! Although, a glass of homemade wine on a relatively empty stomach gives a body some fluid numbness………just wearing off now!!!! LOL!!!!!
