To explain the above……..some of you know that I/we live in quintessential “rural America”! Specifically, 5 miles outside a town, pop. 900 (maybe!), and 12 miles from another, slightly larger, town named Rushford (MN). Finding a reeeeeeelly good cuppa is a challenge……..or should I say ‘was’ a challenge until yesterday, that is, when this place opened! Yup, the “new kid” is a new coffee/sandwich place, located in above named town, and that’s where DH and I spent some time this morning. The name (which is defined by the street on which it’s located) is “Jessie Street Java”. Awesome!!!! 
Come along as I introduce you to my friends (and owners), Amy and Kevin………..please, say “Hello” and kindly place your order…….take a moment, though, cuz the menu board gives so many choices!!!!!!

DH has already settled in and has categorically stated that the coffee is among the best he’s had!!!!!! (Sorry about the ‘face obscured by cup’ pose! Kinda reminds me of the old TV sitcom “Tool Time” and the neighbor {“Wilson”} who’s face was always hidden partially but was available to dispense a timely piece of verbal wisdom.) Your new coffee shop sounds like a “groovy” place to hang out. Since I’m a puzzle nut I’d be at that table working away. So happy you have a neat new coffee shop! Enjoy those scones – oh my favorite!

Welcome!!!! I’m so glad our paths crossed!!! My fave, in the past, was either Fr. roast or Sumatran but………well, I do like the caffeine and those 2 are really on the low side!!!! The longer a coffee bean is roasted the LESS caffeine remains (heat kills it!!!). Popping over your direction…….and, again, welcome and hugs…………….

It looks the perfect place to met up with friends or just to pop in for a quiet coffee after shopping. My friends meet up in a little coffee house called DL10, the name is the first part of the post/zip code. Our market town of Richmond has many coffee places but this one has a lovely atmosphere and a big table for us to sit around. The coffee is pretty good too. I would love to visit Jessie Street Java next time I am passing. 😉

LOL!!!! I didn’t realize until I got home and was editing the photos, that DH was in such a pose!!!! He hasn’t seen it yet!!! That (not so) little place is a “breath of fresh air” in a very rural/agriculture-based town. There are a great many, who call that area home, who work in the larger surrounding towns and find that type of atmosphere quite to their liking (us included!!!!). I wish them well!!!!!

I bet it is nice to have a nice coffee place to drop by. I occasionally stop by a place that is 12 miles from me – but that is a ways to go for coffee! Usually it is when I meet a quilting friend and we look at the magazines too ( book store/coffee shop) can’t say as the coffee is anything great but it is a nice place to meet.
Given that there’s nothing between our place and there, except farm fields, it feels like right around the corner! LOL! The coffee is amazing (will be trying other drinks such as blended iced chai tea…..when it’s a LOT warmer outside!!!!!), the scones are awesome and the sandwiches & soups are 5 star, also. Yup, I’m glad they’re there!!!!

It does! Not having to drive 35 miles for the “coffee house” atmosphere and coffee/food is huge (especially if needing a meeting spot with friends). So glad you stopped by!!!!! Hugs………………..
