I guess “quiltiness” might not be a word in the dictionary but it certainly described the sharing at my last small quilt group gathering. We met in the afternoon this time, rather than evening, so that we could enjoy Carol’s lovely gardens and home AND so that our journeys home through deer-infested areas would give us drivers the advantage…..hopefully!!!!
Anyhow, let the sharing begin…………….
Ginny is one of our “snow birds” and gets so much done!!!!!
JoAnn always makes super great use of her summer days away from teaching in LaCrescent. More in the next photos!!!!!
And Anita shared a darling tote………..
The smaller photo gives a better ‘shot’ of it.
Anita, also, shared this top. She did some ditch stitching but felt it needed a tad more, so she tied it in the large blocks for added detail.
A beautiful wool hooked/ticking ‘clutch’ to hold some of Kathy’s rug hooking tools.
Cindy brought this top that her daughter had finished piecing and the sampler, below, that she had done.
Lunch was served on Carol’s collection of Jadite dishware. Gorgeous!!!!!
Another wonderful time together came to a close. I do hope that you have opportunity to enjoy the company of good friends. Time has a way of slipping away oh so quietly unless we seize each and every moment and live it to the fullest. Until next we come together, I send many hugs…………………….
Lovely share Doreen — there is nothing like meeting with other ladies that love to quilt…. The projects are beautiful.
Thanks so much and thank you for stopping by!!! Hugs…….
Such a talented group. So many varieties of quilting. They are productive. I do wish there was a similar group near to me. Getting together to “show and tell” is fabulous. Everyone has their own special talents. I love the sampler quilt and the first two pictures. Have never thought of making a scalloped edge. Another idea added to my “to do” list. Thank you for sharing these get togethers with us.
I’m sorry you don’t have such a group. It’s great to give me that needed “push”!!!!!!!!
Wowwe the lady sure have been busy, absolutely lovely I do appreciate you sharing all the pictures
I am so glad you enjoy the ‘show’. It’s great motivation for us all!!!!!
What a wonderful collection of projects and inspiration! Aren’t good friends the absolute best?! Thanks for sharing…
:-b
The projects are all so different and lovely, aren’t they? There is so much variety in what crafty folks can put together. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I totally agree that it is important to savor those relationships with friends. So important. Time slips by so quickly and we are “old” before we know it. But not me—I am never growing up . Have a wonderful day, Doreen!
Growing old cannot be avoided BUT growing up is a choice!!!! LOL!!!!

I love your quilty friends. Their creations are wonderful/
Those dishes are pretty. I do not know anything about them! O_O
Life is fleeting. we should be mindful of our relationships with others and honor those times we gather together. We get one life on earth. It is best not to spend it with selfish endeavors like wearing funny clothing and being on the national news. 😀
Ooooooo……..your point is “spot on” and, I’m afraid, seriously put to the shadows by some who wield great power/influence over others.
This small group of gals certainly manages a heap of sewing each month!!!!!!!!!! Hugs………………
Lovely quilts and my favorite is the sampler. Great to see all the different projects being done by your friends. Yes we all need to take just a moment to smell the rises each day! Great post…
Precisely!!!!!
Pretty pictures and a very good point about making the special moments count! (And the Jadeite in that last photo is beautiful!)
Her collection is amazing. She started before it was the ‘in’ thing (read: it was a lot cheaper!!!!!)!!!!
Wow what a Blessing you all shared. Beautiful Projects! Totes are my favorites what’s the cost? Blessings Always, Mtetar
Thanks so much for popping in!!!!! Hugs…………
Always my pleasure make it a Blessed Weekend. Always, Mtetar
