Disappearing Pinwheel progress continues. It is a “Friendship Star” with “Illinois Road” as the secondary pattern. From this:
There will be a narrow white border and a wider (3”?) red one. The measurements, as of now, are 45”x 57”. This is variation #3. Stay tuned for #4….will start that one tomorrow. It will, also, be a “Friendship Star” with “Whirligig” as the secondary. The borders will be the same.
Nice, nice. I hope to make a red and white quilt some day.
Since starting these, I have heard that a lot. It was on my “bucket list” (soon to be crossed off!). The next 2 color quilt is a blue and white. Maybe after Christmas. Already have some thoughts on that!!!!!! Sigh……….the brain never ceases when it comes to these types of thoughts!!!!!!
Love seeing this one progress!
As has already been said there is so much movement in this quilt. Love the pinwheel design. It is bright, fresh and just pops.
The never-ending variety of piecing possibilities are amazing, hmmmmm???? Have an awesome day!!!! Hugs….
Hi Doreen! Looks great! I love the pattern! There are so many ‘patterns’ in it. Finally the weather seems to change a little bit – it has been so long, hot summer. I’m with my friend ‘London’. Have a lovely day! x Teje
You, also!!!!!
Very pretty!
Love the color
Love it! I didn’t realize that it would have so much movement – very nice! Can’t wait to see how it speaks to you about the quilting.
Me, too!!!! LOL!!
This is awesome D!!! I love the way you’ve put it together… I worked a little on mine this weekend, but got a lot further with my Disappearing Hourglass… My Pinwheels are slowly becoming churndash. This came out so cute!!!
Thank you so much for dropping by! I was just on your blog b/f I saw this post, so kinda redundant me thinks! LOL!!!!!!
Looking good – like the last photo. It’s like a pinwheel and whirlee-whig together! I love pinwheels and this one is outstanding. Hope you had a cool labor day there – another hot one here!
Rainy and cool here…..perfect for sewing. We came home last eve (from the RV) as storm warnings were posted. Somewhat missed us.
