Some more SID (stitch in the ditch) with Fil-Tec’s “Essence” nylon thread in ‘Smoke’. It’s really quite nice. A little less shine and I had no problem with any breakage even though it is super fine/thin!! Finished up the center motifs and added a bit to the black areas with the vine. A different motif from yesterday’s “yin yang”. There are 4 large blocks with this fabric and I alternated this pattern with the one shown yesterday.
The curved leaf/flower applique is outlined and, above it, stitching has been added and ready for background fill.
Another view.
And a glimpse of the back………………………………
It’s beginning to have some “life” now! Tomorrow is a full day away from the machine…….and, then, it’s Friday….again!!!!! These days/weeks fly by way too quickly!!!!
Back home and trying to catch up….love the quilting – looking good!

“Just started” is right!!! It seems like I just finished sewing Christmas projects and now I’m getting ready to go that direction again!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
This is looking great, Doreen. I agree with you about time flying. So many quilts, so much fabric and so little time. 😉
