Back to Cresco (IA)………….

And “Quilter’s Garden” quilt shop. Kati had relocated her shop next door to her old spot and today I discovered what had gone in that shop space. It’s a retreat center for crafters!!!!! 013

Yup. It’s the cutest, coziest space that contains all that’s necessary for some really serious “production”!! 004  This front room is a no-nonsense well equipped, and extremely well lit, “work” area.  The flannel/design walls are well located and numerous.003  Joni (one of the owners) was working next store at the quilt shop and so graciously gave Carol and I a quick tour. Cutting mats, iron, all ready to go.008006  But, of course, one would need to keep up their strength with a “goodie” prep/cook area and this was super convenient and well appointed!005   Right down to the specially embroidered towels……012 This inviting eating area will serve well………………….007 But, of course, one does need to take a bit of time for dreaming of that next piecing!010 The dorm style sleeping accommodations were at the ready with their own back entrance. A cute little shower room complete this crafting/quilting oasis. 009 Wouldn’t it be a treat to spend some time in such surroundings, conveniently located next door to a great quilt shop, and sew, sew, sew (or whatever!)! So, if you are reading this in reasonable proximity to N.E. Iowa/Cresco, maybe a gathering of like-minded friends could……….well, you know………………..002

To keep up with what’s happening “Like” them on their Fb page.

Now, back to my quilting……………………………………….
