Is a busy group of gals (I’m sure you’ve figured that out!!!) There are a few of us who belong to the Spring Grove group, also, so you may remember the aprons-from-bib overalls workshop that was shown in that post. As you remember also, the gals really didn’t have time to finish their projects, but here’s Carol’s finishes (1 short week later!!!!)……. This gal is always up to something and is multi-faceted….for sure! When most of us carry and show photos of the grands, etc, …..well, not her!! This is what she has to share……. Yes, that is a deer head she is holding……her “kill” for this bow season. She had just the antler/rack mounted…..her reasoning is that when the day comes for her move to a long term care facility, there won’t be enough space in her room for a “shoulder mount” but there will be for just the rack!!!!!! I leave it there……………………………
If you go to this post you will see the “rest of the story” on this t-shirt quilt.
Lynda has been busy, also. Over the past few weeks, she has accomplished these piecings and just got them back from her long-armer. Lynda is on the left/JoAnn on the right, helping to hold this very large quilt!!!!!
The fabrics for this top were gotten when some of us took a shop-hop trek. This is the first block of her in-process “Disappearing Hour Glass” piecing (pattern may be found on the Missouri Star Quilt Co. YouTube site). Binding finally applied…….done!!!!!
I think that about wraps this one up……til the Christmas gathering in early December! Note: Better get at those quilted exchange surprises……hmmmmmm????
