Where’s “Waldo”??? Not! How about………..

Where’s “Treadlemusic”?? Well, at the moment, this is the spot of choice……….

South Padre

Yup, a little corner of Texas where the only ‘white stuff’ is the sand on the beach!!!! Temps are a tad on the “cool” (relatively speaking!) side-around 70F—I’ll take it!

Before making it down this far, DH and I did a couple of fabulous “meet-ups”!!!! On our way through the beautiful Arkansas countryside, we spent some time in Russellville visiting with long-time blogging buddy C.J. (hop on over to see what she’s up to here)…..007

Now, there’s one thing about such meet-ups that I/we have learned and that is that, even though we have not met in person, we can talk non-stop ‘cuz we have “history” and such a meeting is merely catching up on current happenings! Awesome!!!!!

We so hated to leave but there were miles to be covered. Next, on to Salado, TX, and a delightful breakfast with Gayle (you may read more on her blog “Thread Crazy” here)………..013

A sweet memento of our time together was this little package of Texas textiles……Gayle Texas fabric

Again, a ton of chatting and “stepping” on each other’s sentences! But, once again, all good things must come to a close, and we hit the road bound for North Padre Island, Corpus Christi and, now, South Padre/Port Isabel.

I must close for now….but, I’m sure there will be more to come. In the next ‘installment’ I hope to explain more clearly the reason for this warm jaunt. So, stay tuned and “y’all come back, now, ya hear??”
