My design wall is empty but I did finish off a small client’s lap top quilt to show. It’s made using the pattern “Twist and Shout” found here. You’ll notice that there aren’t any triangle pieces cut to set in. It’s only after the top is pieced that there is some clever “slicing” and rearranging that creates those setting triangles. More examples of this pattern may be found here and here.
A close-up and the back………..
Thread: Aurifil Mako 50wt (top) and Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly 70wt (bobbin).
Batting: Hobbs 80/20 cotton/poly
Stitching motif: “Loopy Paisley” Not a large project but a pleasant one.
Next up….another lap quilt for the same client…….
Enjoy your week and, please, stop back when you are able!
like it! I’m always amazed at your creations 🙂
Thanks friend. It keeps the brain cells ticking! Hugs……
Great looking quilts. With your quilting they will be just perfect.
You absolutely are my biggest fan!😘
😉
I am amazed by the numbers of quilts fabric artists create and how many you have to add your creative touch to. As always, beautiful.
Me too!!! Seems endless!!!!😎
Great projects and love the Twist and Shout pattern. Have a great week.
Will do 😎
Lovely and I bet those stitch up fairly quickly because of their smaller size. Have a fabulous day as well, my friend.
Thanks. You too 😎
I’ll and enjoy your day as well. Blessings, Mtetar
