A couple of finishes……………..

First, our “little” camper is home and ready to be “buttoned up” for the winter………this will be completed next week when the new owner (another ‘Tom’!) will come to our place and ‘my Tom’ will go over the process with him. Some quick(?) photos for my “camper diary”……………..

And, now, on to a fun little diversion…..involving….micro-stippling and a vintage piece which now equals a fresh new mug rug!!!!!!

Another fun finish completed totally on Ms Juki……..the perfect “ingredient”! One more close-up…………………….

The linen is 4.5”x 6” and the finish is 6”x 8”. Thread: (top & bobbin): Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly (70 wt) in white. (The letter ‘J’ is Glide). Hobbs cotton/poly (80/20) batting.

I know!!!! I looked at the little finish and thought I’m definitely ‘crazy’ for being so in love with the micro-stippling process!!!! I can only do it on Ms Juki (DSM) and it’s so satisfying and relaxing!!!!!! I’m so glad you like it and popped by for a chat!! Hugs…………..

This is the cutest mug rug and so well quilted with all those tiny stitches.

  3. That’s one sweet camper. Lots of space. I can see why it would be tough to give up. It looks just like home.

It truly was and that’s why I/we sat INdoors last Sunday afternoon, watching the TV/Packer game with tons of munchies (me….curled up in one of the recliners & Tom on the couch!!)!!!!!!!!!

Sweet little quilt. The stitching looks so pretty. I know how much you’ll miss your rig; it looks so roomy. Know you two must be getting anxious for what’s ahead…more great times.
