The Killer Bees continue to buzz…………

Yesterday’s meeting was a tad on the sparse side as a number of gals were off at a retreat busily doing a variety of activities……stitching, piecing, ummmm…, visiting and, shall I say, enjoying each other’s company. The meeting’s business was a bit minimal but the sharing was great as always!!!!!!

First up…….a flea market find that we figured cost about $0.65!!!!!!!!

IMG_5402   Working with wools, using patterns from “Primitive Gatherings”, is a fave of many.

Pillows and totes……….

IMG_5403   This little wall quilt was last week’s workshop.

IMG_5404 You aren’t able to see, but the boots are actually real leather! So cute!!!!!

IMG_5406 IMG_5407 IMG_5408 And some more ‘quilty heart hugs’ for those who would need encouragement in the future……..ready for signatures…..

After the show, there was a time of sharing of helpful hints, fave notions and tricks/techniques. I hope to have that list in the near future.

And……..some of us(?) were totally prepped for THE day……”St. Patrick’s Day”……………..

IMG_5405 ….right down to her toes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Til next time………….sending hugs………

  1. What’s really interesting to me is to see the regional influence in design, like the cowboy boots. That cat quilt, is that the 65-cent find? I always like these show-and-tell days.

So glad to see those cute socks!!! All the quilts were pretty, and yes, those cowboy boots are awesome.

Even though the group was smaller than usual the show and tell was still brilliant. I love the leather boots quilt.
