And slipping back to a “northern routine”! Spring Grove “Piecemakers” met last Monday for a workshop making a necktie water/wine tote……. There were many cute finishes for some and for others (like me!) it was a time of catching up on the happenings. Following is a quick(?) photo recap of some of the sharings…
A beautiful “Stack ‘N’ Whack”……. And Donna, who came with…what?????
Well, not really…but a box crammed full of vintage quilts from a visit with her aunt!!!!!!
Amazing yo-yo coverlet!! But the “show” was just beginning…………
There were more but this will give you a ‘taste’………..
Ruth had taken stitching with ties to a whole new level!!!!!!! …………..
And this “Row Along” that became many mini’s…………….
Another breathtaking time of sharing creativity that seems to know no bounds!
The group is gearing up for a show next month…..stay tuned, I’m sure it will be a “must see”! Til next time, I hope this peek will get your “creative juices” flowing! Thanks so much for stopping by!!!!!
So much talent!!! Thanks for the sweet card – will be in touch soon!
And life goes on……you are so welcome..always …………………..
Glad to hear you are back safe and sound!!! And the quilts…. amazingly talented ladies!
It is good to be home and the trees are leafing out and the tulips/daffodils are blooming……yay!!!!!!!!
What fabulous quilts from Donna’s aunt!!
And there were even more she showed last month. None of the “kids” wanted “the old things”! So glad Donna was there to rescue them😊
Beautiful show and tell, especially all those vintage beauties. Welcome back to the north country where spring takes its good old time arriving!
The robins definitely beat the warmer weather but it’s coming!!!!😎
I love seeing all they beautiful quilts your quilting groups make. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure! They amaze/inspire me also! 😎
Did you even unpack? So thankful you arrived safely back in MN.
I’m curious as to whether you notice any difference in styles/colors/projects between MN and Texas quilters.
There is far more diversity in the TX group….understandable, since such a high percentage are scattered throughout the US for half of the year. Such fun!!!!!!!! Good to be in the “home digs”. Next year will be more settled……maybe!!
So glad you had a safe trip back to MN. Beautiful quilts and projects….know you’re anxious to get back to quilting. Hugs…
I canNOT wait to get back to Ms Sweetie! Some wedding alterations first, though, then a couple of baby quilts (done quickly! Twins already arrived!). Chilly temps here……ugh!!!! LOL!
I’ll trade u the cooler chilly Temps for some 80’s!! If only….lol..hugs.
Yes, if only!!!!!! 😋
