Tuesday’s view of Monday………………

Our Spring Grove group met with much activity. A “UFO” time of sewing and visiting began in the morning, then lunching while old and new business transpired, followed by……..what you’ve come to see…….sharing time! Although some of these quilts were completely done this past month, an equal number were in-progress and saw completion these recent days. So, on to the recap………IMG_5857IMG_5859IMG_5860IMG_5864IMG_5863

Faye was ‘hiding’ for that first photo! Yes, rug hooking is avidly pursued in this group, also!!!!!!!

Kathy, below, is our resident professional hooker (see her site) and, of course, quilter. These are her original patterns…………….IMG_5867IMG_5865

IMG_5868  This little piece (above) is a birthday gift, now gifted, that I first posted here  but couldn’t really elaborate on back in February! Happy (coming up) Birthday, Carol!!!!!! Such are the “perils” of blog posting that involves something that’s a future surprise! LOL!

“Lottery” blocks, that Carol won and are now a cute table covering!!!

Katie, from Quilter’s Garden quilt shop, located in Cresco,Iowa.IMG_5915 Sorry, Katie, for the slight blur!!! This gal is always in “hyper-speed”!!! Her shop is a “must visit” when in northeast Iowa!!!!

Sounds like another great day! Thanks for sharing – it’s so much fun to see all of the projects. I’ve looked thru a few times but can’t choose just one favorite!

I like that first quilt with the half square triangles! It looks vintage and I love vintage. But what a great group, all the way around!

  4. How fun! Those are beautiful! I’m partial to hunters star so that one especially caught my eye, along with the quilts of valor. It’s been years since I made a rug but she has some great designs.

  5. Vicki in MN says:

You have such a wide variety of talent with your quilt group, modern, traditional, scrappy, planned. Love seeing it all. How many are in your group? So what was the demo on?
