Tuesday’s “Two-fer”………………..

In the last 3 days, there have been 2 quilt group meetings. The first was last Saturday…….S.E.A.M.S. (SouthEast Area Machine Stitchers) met last Saturday at the Vernon County Township hall in Oslo. Now, if that sounds a tad obscure, trust me, an area could not be more rural, beautiful or quintessential “Minnesota Farm”. Totally lovely!

Ummm……you had better grab a cuppa…..this will be a photo marathon!

OK…….on with the Machine Stitchers’ sharing……………….IMG_5958IMG_5959IMG_5960IMG_5961

The next group is my smaller local group with just a sampling of what’s going on in their quilty lives…………IMG_5970

Carol had an idea for a garden bucket. Take 1 large bucket, a modified pair of DH’s jeans and wha-la……a place for needed tools in the pockets and larger items inside the bucket!

The “hexie bug” has bitten Carol, also, EPP (English paper piecing) is the process. And, of course, a cute/portable bag was needed for the supplies……………

And from the Salvation Army…………….IMG_5990  In her world, this is what $20 buys….. amazing!!!!!!IMG_5989 IMG_5994IMG_5992IMG_5997  One of several quilt (tops) made for the graduates who attend the Lutheran church in town.

That’s it for this month! Now…..let’s head for the machines………..

Doreen, I love these posts, they are so normal…I am inspired but a little discouraged looking at only the “professional grade” stuff displayed at the county fair and at the quilt shops. These sharing fests show people at all different parts of the journey!

And that is why I’m so thankful my groups are ok with these posts! We are all at different places………or skill levels….and it’s ok!!! As long as it provides enjoyment/fulfillment and creative/artistic outlet!!!!!! Thanks for the visit……will be in touch about our meet-up………..:-D
