Progress is always a good thing……….

At least when it comes to stitching! The cloth, last posted here, is ready for its finishing border stitching. I had already decided to be daring(?) and stitch it out in an olive green colored Invisifil thread. The border is hardly 2” in width, so something fine and simple but, would echo some of the greenery feel of the center, was what I was looking for. I thank Whirls N Swirls Quilting APQS Ontario for the awesome video for this motif (my version)……..IMG_6026  and on the cloth…….IMG_6027

Well, moving along. That’s it for today. Really want this done before the weekend! Stay tuned……….

I am sure this wont take you very long. I like the idea of a coloured thread to lift the white.

It took several sketchbook pages of doodles before this one “sunk in”!!! Making it ‘my own’ was the important trick, then it flowed nicely (a very flexible motif, especially when doing the corners on a border!!!). Thnx so much for popping in!!!! Sending hugs……….
