Military quilt #2. (see here for #1) A simple swirl stitching seemed to be the best approach to this one.

Very pretty…swirls are great to do on a quilt like this. Good choice.
worked very well!!!!!
Hmmm, I think I could manage swirls đŸ™‚ still reflecting on our visit; I enjoyed it so much-thanks again!
I did, also!!!! “Swirls” are a deceptively complex appearing stitching design. They give wonderful texture (especially after laundering!), reign in unwanted piecing fullness/stretching and they give the stitching great practice opportunities to practice smooth arcs and “stitching in the spaces”….by that I mean that when you spiral in there are spaces created then when spiraling out you must keep your eyes on splitting the space and not looking at the actual stitching line that is being created. The result is a more evenly spaced stitching and one that is really much more fun to create (and a lot easier with this mindset). Feel free to e-mail or call me if you have questions!!!! Sending reeeeeelly toasty hugs your way……..
Swirl is do effective, another great finish
Thank you, Ms Debbie….:-D
Always pretty…
Thank you so much!! And glad you “popped in” & took a moment to leave those kind words…….hugs…………..
Swirls may be simple but I think they always look good, another nice finish;-)
I think you are right! Always a pleasing texture and even fill.
