  1. That’s a lot of quilts! My favorite has to be the grandmother’s garden.

I think that was the consensus! A different setting idea and beautifully done. Faye doubted she would ever tackle anything of that magnitude again. It was a “self-challenge” as she is a long-arm quilter primarily!!!!

Lots of beautiful quilts….so much love being spread through quilts. It’s hot here too….

Lovely quilts, your group is very industrious

    • treadlemusic says:

They are and most of the pieced designs are original ideas (the gal, with the hat on, does so many QOV quilts and they are ALL original [to her] patterns!!!!!)

  4. Talk about talent. I always love your show-and-tell posts. Well, mostly show this time.

As always those quilts are wonderful. The QoVs are amazing. The hand pieced hexi quilt aside, I just love the peacock quilt.
We are melting in the UK too. Supposed to have storms today, so far 5 minutes of hailstones and 3 minutes of heavy rain and it is back to 85% humidity and 28 degrees C again. Not conducive to quilting. 😦

Exactly! My studio is on the 2nd floor facing West…..even with a second A/C in the hallway, the room is super uncomfortable in the afternoons. All the awful predicted weather cells have passed by and are in WI. Mississippi River levels are super high from other storms earlier last week. “They” still don’t know if storms will hit this p.m.!!! A bridal gown awaits alterations…….maybe not this afternoon…..we’ll see. Sounds like you have the same ugly weather facing you!

All gorgeous quilts, but that hexie quilt…. I swooned because of that!

as always, Doreen, I am amazed by the sheer output! you and your friends can really produce beauty and volume!
