Is this beautiful ‘finish’ (which was gifted last Saturday)……. The photos, above/below, do not do it justice. The ‘eggplant’ color is so rich I can’t seem to capture it correctly. The very beginnings of this one may be found here and here. My faithful quilt-holder came to the rescue for this nice queen-sized quilt. Feathers, in opposing directions, fill the light spaces and the dark “rails” were left unstitched. The backing provided exactly enough left-over fabric for the binding. Not a scrap left!!!!! Following are some close-ups……….
The photo below gives a pretty accurate color……
And one final picture……..

Til next time…..the quilty journey continues….
Liie this very much, especially the feathers
I think even I am a bit surprised at the wonderful effect that was produced! LOL!
I hope you make oodles of money doing this, you are a quilting genius!
LOL! Well, I’m not sure about that $$ part, but it does give me the opportunity to stitch on a lot of tops that I would not have been able to do myself…..tops that are all so different in piecing style and give me the creative ‘challenge’ that I so dearly love. Thanks so much for your over-the-top kind words! Uber hugs comin’ at ya…………………..
Gorgeous!
I so wish my photos did more than just adequately show off the wonderful piecing this sweet gal did. It was my privilege to finish this one. Thank you for your kind comment! Hugs………
so Pretty.
