Last week I gave you little “peeks” at a gift that would find its way to a new home. That happened last Saturday and, now, a better picture………………Front. Back
And a better close-up………….
The groom & bride’s initials (left & right, respectively) and, center, last name initial. I haven’t done much with quilted monograming and need to do more, for added proficiency.
Several threads were used on the top (see “tags” below), the bobbin was Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly (on both the Juki and Sweet 16). Hobbs Tuscany Silk batting (double layer) added a very nice loft. Dupioni silk, layered with the vintage piece, really gives the additional ‘shine’ factor I desired with this piece.
OK, back to an “in-process” project……
Wow. it is beautiful.
I was very pleased with the outcome. thinking I need to make another!!! Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit!!! Hugs…………………
Beautifully done and gift to be cherished.
Since the bride’s mom does quite a bit of quilting, the stitched gifts this couple received will have total appreciation for all that went into their creation…..which makes it oh so much nicer for the ones who gift them! 😀
One of a kind, treasured gift! You are so generous to share your talents!
I think we all want to give something ‘special’/with added meaning sometimes (if we are able). I am thankful that I am able to do such. Your sweet comment is much appreciated…..hugs…………..
This is so beautiful. The Bride and Groom will cherish this forever.
Since the bride’s mom is a quilter, I know she will. It was really fun to do…..but what vintage piece isn’t, IMHO!!! LOL!!!!!
Very pretty
It’s coming along nicely……………
It is well done, beautiful and colors in good harmony. I invite You to visit my:
Hooked on lace.

Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for your timely visit, Friend. I will ‘pop’ over and visit your place shortly. Hugs to you and your lovely (quilty) wife………………..
