The Killer Bees’ quilt show is…………..

Tomorrow BUT we have a meeting today and, of course, “Share Time” with so many pieces of inspiration!!!! Starting with the projects/tops in progress from some preliminary directions handed out last week for today’s workshop. These were just the “prep” directions!!!!! And this group is crazy good and many got this far with even these partial pieces of info…………………….IMG_8172IMG_8173IMG_8177 IMG_8174 IMG_8176 IMG_8178    And another “Twist and Shout” finish…or two…..or………IMG_8163IMG_8180IMG_8168 For more on the “Twist and Shout” quilts and pattern, please, see previous posts starting with this one (pattern found here)….

IMG_8164IMG_8165IMG_8167IMG_8169IMG_8170IMG_8182IMG_8183IMG_8184IMG_8185IMG_8186 One more thought….if any of you are visiting a “thrift” or antique shop (or, if there’s one of these lurking in your cabinet from “Aunt Tilly”{!!??})….here’s a terrific “up-cycle” idea……..IMG_8171    One can never have too many pincushions, can one??????

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tomorrow is our quilt event and, once again, I have the privilege of sharing FMQ with those who will be attending. Hopefully a few photos will come to be by Saturday…….Blessings to all! Til next time………………..

So if the quilts at the top are “Prep Instruction” is there more instruction to come? I can’t wait to see if that is the case! The color selections are stunning!

The funny part is….those gals jumped way ahead (“read between/beyond the lines??) and got the top finished before getting the “further” directions!!!!!! I’ll be curious to see what comes next week, too!!!! I didn’t get the directions (I knew I wouldn’t have the time to do it!!!).

  3. You know how much I love this showing of all these fantastic art pieces.

And that last upcycling idea is truly clever.

Wow! Love the first quilts – that pattern might be a good stash buster.

  5. Wow! What is the name of the top 5 quilts? Love the pattern! And the pin cushion idea is wonderful too 🙂
