A fantastic quilt/trunk show……..

Came to the Killer Bees last Thursday!!! We were kept oohing & ahhhing for the whole time!!! Susan, and hubby Tim, are the “WAZOO!” team of their longarm quilting service. Susan was a total delight as she talked through the treasure trove of quilts she had brought along. So…..grab a cuppa (you might just need to make a whole pot!!) and get comfy….the photos are set to begin. But first….say hello to our guest….IMG_8358     and we’ll begin. Note…..click on any photo to enlarge! Photos that are side by side will, hopefully, be the same pattern used in 2 colorways!!!!! IMG_8363 IMG_8360IMG_8362IMG_8364IMG_8365IMG_8366IMG_8370IMG_8368IMG_8369IMG_8371IMG_8372IMG_8377IMG_8378IMG_8373IMG_8364IMG_8383IMG_8390    Please, note her “run away” pineapples with escaped ‘rings’!!!!! Susan embellishment creativity kept us in giggles! The back of the above quilt with 2 “orphan” pineapple blocks.…IMG_8391IMG_8393IMG_8399IMG_8401    The above 2 quilts, once again, show Susan’s creative “add-to-it” artistry. Directly above……she added the Mom & Papa birds, additional squirrel, dimensional leaves that go off the upper right corner of the quilt. The quilt above that one, she add the graceful border applique…..all original.IMG_8396       To finish this mini-show (there actually were more quilts!!!!), I’ll leave you with a close-up of the blue/white quilt (1st photo)……IMG_8349    Want more of Susan’s talents??? Please, hop over to her blog: “WAZOO! NEWSBITS”. Lots of inspiration there!!!

Thanks for sharing these gorgeous quilts. Just about to pop over the Susan’s site to see more. There are plenty of ideas spinning around in my head after seeing those wonderful ‘picture’ quilts.

I do believe Susan must sew/quilt 24/7! Will definitely check her website. Loved those first 2 quilts as colors are outstanding. Thanks for continuing to take and share pics of these beautiful quilts that otherwise, we’d never get to see. Simply awesome.

  6. It is the vibrancy of the hues in many of these quilts which jumps out on me. Love so many of them.
