Continued vintage progress on 2 ………..

Pretty little pieces. The first is now ready for a border and maybe a little bling…………………. (link to post showing previous status….)….IMG_8477IMG_8478       and little piece number 2 which has a ways to go before I will call it ‘done’……..IMG_8475IMG_8476     This post shows the above a tad earlier in the process.

Both pieces are being stitched (top and bobbin) with Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt, and has Hobbs Heirloom cotton/poly (80/20) batting.

Micro-stippling is a relaxing pasttime for me and one that suits these pieces beautifully. Onward to the rest of the weekend…………….

I am a huge fan of quilting using vintage linens. I have not had the guts to try one myself yet but I am devouring any posts that do it. Thanks for feeding my craving! Your work is beautiful!

This one is really a stunner Doreen! I love the feathers yo put in, just the right amount to balance the micro stippling.
