Yesterday, a group of the township ladies met for lunch in the neighboring town of Rushford (MN) and, as is our custom, headed down the block to “Grace Place”, the local thrift shop. We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month and that just so happens to be the “Senior Discount Day” at that shop. Everything is 50% off for us of the older persuasion…..yay! Of course, vintage is my focus and, first, this beautiful, perfect/without blemish(!) cloth (52”x 64”)……………IMG_9167   Yup…..marked $4, so…..$2 to me!  And, then, these little cuties just couldn’t be left by themselves……………IMG_9168   Marked a $1 each, the total came to a  whopping $1.50 for that lot! Cheap fun, I would say!!!! Off to stitch, on this rainy/stormy day (as soon as the lightening settles down a bit, though!!!!)………….

So, owing to your “advanced Senior state”… I am in a financial position to offer you $3 for the tablecloth. Hahahaha!!!!! I’m very jealous hat people can find such great vintage linens at resale shops!!!!!

LOL LOL LOL……………I’m usually “a day late and a dollar short” on these ‘finds’ so was totally delighted to see these beauties quietly waiting for me(?) in a corner of the little shop!!! hehehe………

Really!! Spring Valley used to have THE BEST quilt shop…”Quilters Quarters”….I frequented that place a lot!!! I/we are 12 miles from Rushford (5miles West of Houston). I take it you’ve moved!!! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs……………
