My latest endeavor draws to a close. Begun here, it rapidly moved forward. First, quilting the back piece……….
. On to the front……………Of course, it just must have some feathers……….
Using a Frixion marker, I lightly gave myself some guidelines.
. Done. On to the side motifs………..
A moment, or two, in the doodling sketchbook and on to the ‘real thing’…………………
And some background ‘pebbles’………….
The lower area had already been given a bit of definition with a line of stitching, echoing the vintage piece’s scallop above. Below that—-“piano keys” would give dimension without competing with all that’s going on in the vintage portion!
Completing the ruler work, and stitching to front & back together, I give you the “Friday Finish”…………….

Another weekend is here…..go and enjoy! Til next time, sending warm Texas hugs to y’all!!!!

Hugs back at ya, Friend…………..
You make the process sound so easy…your design works perfectly. Piano keys, huh? I like that.
Sounds kinda appropriate, hmmmm???? LOL!
I might love this one better than the blue?!
Oooooo…….maybe??? Ummmm, have anything to do (partially) with the fact it’s red/white??? LOL!
So beautiful. I’m mesmerized by your talent.
Shar, you are way kind! Thanks so much for popping by!!!! Hugs…………..
Very pretty. Of course the feathers set it off perfectly. 😉
Sorry for the double comment. I don’t quite know what happened. Nothing posted so I did it again and up popped both of them. Whoops!
