Spent some time trying to set up the new ‘puter…..with Hubb’s major help. I know “social net-working” and blogs but computer language strikes fear in me cuz usually it turns out badly when I click on a (logical to me) button. Anyhow, onward………
To refresh your memory, I will advise popping over to this post to pick up my thoughts on these (now completed) projects. Yup….there was enough fabric for 2 totes—one with my fave paisley (stash) fabric lining (for me), that I am finally running out of(!!) and one with a lovely floral (again, stash) fabric/fat quarter. Photos will finish the process………

Thread:(Top & bobbin) Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt. Batting: Hobbs Heirloom, cotton/poly. And, 1 set of vintage pillowcases.
These are simply adorable. I love the fabrics and the vintage pillowcase makes the perfect addition to an already wonderful item. Wonderful lovely work as always.
Thanks so much💜 These were great fun to design (especially since I’ve decided to keep the paisley lined version!!! LOL!) The benefit auction is next Saturday and I might pop in to see how the donation tote goes.
Those are wonderful, and I love the lining in both…I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite.
Thank you, Kathy. The floral is what I had hoped to use in both but there was exactly enough for one bag. I felt that print would have a wider appeal (for a donation/auction item) than the paisley (and I luv paisleys!). 😉
Awww, they are so sweet, pretty female bags, someone ( I hope ) will treasure them.
I hope so, too. I know I’ve really used the one that’s mine (paisley lining) a lot already. 😊
Great bag! The quilting on the top is especially amazing:)❤️
Those vintage pillowcases really do make these projects special. I love them, used as originally intended, but they’re not really seen or appreciated when on a pillow as much as used this way!! Thanks for popping by!!!
