Yup… I’ve succumbed to the “what’s out there” fad. Using Superior’s Variegated Gold metallic thread.

Hobb’s cotton/poly batting. Back to it….

    Beautiful quilting once again. Did you have to do anything special using this thread?

      Not really. I am using a #16 needle (this panel is being stitched on my Sweet 16…the next will be on my domestic/Juki 2010). I only have to be aware that stitching away from my self may end up with the thread being cut by the needle as it stitches. I try to angle the stitching slightly to avoid this. Otherwise…..this is absolutely THE BEST metallic thread and, with rare exception, is the only one I stitch with. Again…it’s Superior’s Variegated Gold, #25. Awesome!!!!
