The “Nova Star” is officially a finish (at least as a ‘top’!)………
It measures a nice 80”x 80” (still not fond of the “square” idea) and DH’s “wing-span” had a bit of a difficulty holding it! You can trace this one’s history to here (and previous posts).
Onward, or should I say ‘backward’, to this project begun as my demo at Festival of Quilts.

I’m beginning the transition from the blues to the more purple petals and have switched from a gray to a violet Glide 40wt thread.
The results are really nice……….
Now, to continue my feather journey. I would love to have you come along…………
