At this time of year, it’s so nice to be able to create these special little unexpected “needs”. I used templates from Marti Michell and have had such really good results with all of hers.
The hexie pieces were cut from a vintage runner that had some issues so using the flower sections individually was the only option…..
This looks like the perfect project for Ms Juki and her fmq “talents”! Please, stop back to see what’s coming next………….

Love it when you recycle and salvage old linens like this. This pattern looks really familiar to me – I suspect my Grandma had a tablecloth with those flowers embroidered on it as well. Happy sewing!
It was a very simple stitching and someone (before I got it) had cut a huge hunk out of it! So………….. Any excuse to create something “new”…..hope to get to the stitching today. Thanks for stopping by.
