In the activities that are to take place the next couple of days, I will finish this little project with the following photos………….. A quick back shot……….
And the “big picture”………..
The thread used (top & bobbin): Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt. Batting (single layer): Hobbs Heirloom cotton/poly. All stitching was hand guided, FMQ without any type of marking, stitched on my Juki 2010 Q. I do use a “Supreme Slider” covering the needle area, feed-dogs dropped, stitch length set at ‘0’. Schmetz ‘sharp’ #14 needle. For the past year, I’ve been using gloves by “Dr. Arthritis” purchased on Amazon. I have found these to be cooler and fit better than some others I’ve been using (I take a size small/x-small generally). If you have any questions/thoughts feel free to leave a comment or send me a note.
Have a Blessed Christmas and Joy-filled New Year. We will be traveling to Texas, leaving Wednesday morning (hopefully beating the pending storm!), so there may be a week break in visits here.
It’s really pretty. Enjoy your trip.
Thanks Michele!! Happy New Year 💜💜
That quilting is just glorious! Safe travels after a blessed and joyous Christmas!
Your sweet words are much appreciated. Getting packed but this year I feel the “crunch” a bit since losing that day after Christmas packing day! LOL! Won’t know how successful I have been till we get down there and unpack……ha!
Love, love, love it. Dive safe and have a fabulous time.
It will be warmer….for sure. I’m really happy with the finish. “Instant(?) gratification” is always fun!!!!!
Beautiful quilting. We’ll done xx
Thank you so much! It, truly, was an enjoyable little topper!
