A simple finish…………….

On this (now turned ‘drippy’) Thursday, there is a sweet little quilt ready to be boxed and mailed to Indiana. (more on its previous steps here) IMG_1309 (2) The border stitching combined gentle loops with flowers that took their cue from the center area. It’s a “cuddle quilt” for this newborn young’n and will be washed much. I always do a quick run through the wash/dryer so it will be fresh for the recipient. Some close-ups………

Thread: (top) Isacord, 40 wt & Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt; (bobbin) Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt. Batting: Hobbs Heirloom, cotton/poly. Stitched (hand-guided/FMQ) on my Juki 2010Q (LUV this machine!!!)
