On this (now turned ‘drippy’) Thursday, there is a sweet little quilt ready to be boxed and mailed to Indiana. (more on its previous steps here) The border stitching combined gentle loops with flowers that took their cue from the center area. It’s a “cuddle quilt” for this newborn young’n and will be washed much. I always do a quick run through the wash/dryer so it will be fresh for the recipient. Some close-ups………
And, of course, a backward glance…………..
I found a cute border for the label, so a simple printing and we have this…
Thread: (top) Isacord, 40 wt & Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt; (bobbin) Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt. Batting: Hobbs Heirloom, cotton/poly. Stitched (hand-guided/FMQ) on my Juki 2010Q (LUV this machine!!!)
This is so cute. Just perfect.
Thank you……..and it will be on its way to Indiana shortly! Hugs………..
Love those colors –sure to be treasured for a lifetime. 🙂
I hope so. The circumstances for this little creation are most heartrending……………..
