For a special client. Two wall quilt tops (one for her and one for a sweet gift) were brought to me and the fun began. The pattern is “Stitch Happens” by Kelli Fannen. I knew I wanted them to be stitched totally differently and here are the results. #1
and………..#2………………………………..
Notice my trusty “Line Tamer” ruler. Invaluable for doing that diamond grid background!!!!!
I think that #2 is my fave, but………….
Thread: (top) Glide, 60&40 wt, (bobbin) Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70 wt. Batting: Hobbs Heirloom, 80/20.

On to a small fun pillow project. Stay tuned……….
It’s a steamy, hot, stormy week and perfect for some stitching. How’s your week progressing??? Hugs………
Those will be lovely on a sewing room wall…I am such a sucker for a nice grid, and the second one is my favorite too!
That grid was actually fun to do (must be my left brain kicking in!). The contrast to the busy feathers/piecing is nice. Wall space in our home is FILLED big time and I don’t rotate with seasons…..like what’s there too much. Just add to it!!! LOL!!!!
Oh, I saw this pattern on another blog post and love it! Your quilting looks fab!
It’s a pattern that’s been around for a while but these are the first “in person” pieces I’ve seen. They are destined for 2 sewing rooms that are nicely sized. I don’t have wall space in my studio that would come close to accommodating one of these….LOL! Thank you for popping by!!!! Hugs…………
These are adorable. I prefer #2 too but I’d gladly take #1!
As it turns out, the gal is going to let the recipient choose which one she would prefer!!
