That are truly “must-repeats”! I first made these way back here and just had to make more!!!! This time I was able to hold everything in place using these Clover Wonder Clips, which made the process so much easier.
For the lining, I made a quick trek to our local “dollar store” (today’s version of yesterday’s “dime store”….lol!) and picked up a flannel-backed vinyl tablecloth.
I didn’t use batting in these pouches as I thought the flannel added enough padding and the vinyl part would be a good idea if the pouch was used for, say, cosmetics. Easily wiped clean.
Well……it’s “Black Friday” and the shoppers have descended on the various venues, but not for this person!! Shopping is definitely not my “thing”. It’s 30F outside and snowing (with a little drizzle mixed in!) and really looks more like Christmas!!! A busy weekend ahead and the next week is one of getting ready to head south. Off to start the day………..
What a great idea to reuse those bags! Using the flannel backed tablecloth is genius. Happy packing…looks like you’ll have better weather for the trip south.
Looking forward to leaving the white stuff behind!!!!!
Your candy bags are fantastic!!! I think sewing is way better than shopping😊❤️❤️
I couldn’t agree more!! So is baking/cooking!!! Hugs…….
These pouches are darling and using the flannel backed table cloth is genius!
Thank you, Jeanne!! Sometimes I do have one of those “light bulb” moments….lol!!! Hope your Thanksgiving was grand……… winter has certainly descended with a vengance! Another drizzly, flakey event to start tonight. Texas is looking better and better!!! Hugs…….
