Doing a couple of small client wall-quilts. They are cute little landscape/picture quilts that are quite heavily fused so I’m trying these new-to-me needles to combat the possibility of a gummy needle and thread breakage. So far, they are awesome!!!! Also, I’m not a huge fan of “invisible” thread but the number of color changes in these pieces really called for its usage. I opted for my fave product:
They are poly (as opposed to nylon, which has a low melting temperature…..think ironing) and the shine is a bit less. A peek at this current process………….
I hope your week is going well. The days seem to fly by!!!!
That looks like it will be just adorable! Looking forward to seeing the finish. :0)
Thanks. I added it to my notes as I make landscapes at times also. Try to stay away from the invisible monofilament because of the shine. More noticeable with certain fabrics. Good tip
The monofilament is still not my first choice, but sometimes……… Thanks so much for stopping by.
Those are really cute! I love the colors and the trees are perfect!
They are the cutest, I agree. Soon I’ll post “the rest of the story” and that’s even cuter!!!!! Hugs…….
