And enjoying these moments. One of the groups I belong to is making placemats for each of the people who take part in a local “Senior Meals” group. The mats will be a real table brightener with one side being an Autumn/Thanksgiving theme and the other side a more Winter theme that can be used the rest of the upcoming time of chilliness. So, again, my stash provided the resources. Managed to make 4 and am pleased with them. The Fall themed sides………….and the “backs”…….
I actually made 2 like that first photo.
Thread:Connecting Threads Essential Pro poly, 70wt (top & bobbin), Batting: Hobbs Heirloom cotton/poly. Assembled on my trusty Juki 2010 and quilted on my Sweet 16 (a bit of ruler work made them an easy finish).

I had to come and look at your other post about placemats. I would love to do this for my mom –hmmm. I think they are still taking meals in their rooms but it would definitely brighten up her table. What a great idea! One for every season!
Oh, yes!! I have so many friends in LTC/assisted living facilities that must receive their meals in their rooms………..the days must be so long (and the same!) for them………………
Some lovely fabrics here. They give me the sense of lovely Fall in your part of the world.
My “stash” tends to go that color direction so it worked out very well. Thnx so much for taking time to leave your sweet words………..
