Very pretty.
So pretty! 🙂
Thank you! A bit more done today & looking a bit better. 😍
Amazing! Makes me want to run my fingers over it.
It does feel great!!!!!!
I’ve often thought that when I’ve seen a quilt (the back more stunning than the front when it comes to showing the quilting) I’ve always wondered if it’s because the quilting is not appropriate for the front or if it’s because the back is always more plain than the front and so shows off the quilting better. Right now I’m playing on some samplers and I can’t really tell what’s front and back only what side I have uppermost when I quilt. It’s an interesting conundrum really.
What you show here as the back is simply just beautiful! Can’t wait to see the front.
You are so correct in putting forth those 2 possibilities! Both are possible and good to consider when choosing stitching motifs!!!
I love the back too. It can often be easier to see the lovely stitching from the back.
Yes….that’s why I really prefer a solid/almost solid backing material. Thanks so much for your kind comment.
Every time I see your work, I am simply amazed.
It sure is an interesting art form, hmmm? Your enthusiasm/appreciation is a huge encouragement to me, also, cuz I do hope that there are others who do not take up the art but receive such as a gift, may have a bad more insight into what it takes to create it. We’re all in the “education” ‘business’. Hugs……….
Well I am not sure what the front will look like, but I’d frame that puppy and call it a whole cloth quilt! It looks awesome!.
You know what!!!????? That’s really a good idea!!!!!!! Thanks & hugs comin’ at ya………..
Beautiful! Like van Gogh’s Starry Night – a cold and frosty sky version!
I love that painting!!!!!!
This is stunning Doreen!!! Wow! I bet it will grow on you… I tend to like the back of my quilts better than the front too…
It’s a Christmas tree panel I’m using to try some new stitch combos on and kinda wingin’ it. I was never good at that. Always had to have a plan! LOL!
From the back it looks awesome!
Oh I like…yes, I love the back as it shows so much more detail!
And doesn’t “muddle” the picture with all the colors, pictures, prints, etc, etc……And that’s what ‘some’ of us are all about!!!! Hmmmmm????? I know you are, too!!!!! LOL!
Oooo-pretty! I like the backs better too!
Whew!!! I’m so glad my thoughts aren’t ‘peculiar’ to just me!!!!!
Wow! Your work is stunning!!! I love it.
Thanks, Hon……..This one really had no plan. I will show the “right”/front side when I’m finished. Several different thread colors in use!!!!!!
