Gifts given….now, time for a “reveal”………
The first “hints” are here and here. A huge vintage playtime for me and was gifted last Sunday afternoon at my smaller, local quilt group. Our annual Christmas gathering was totally joyous and without weather complications! In fact, fun enough … Continue reading

“Angelic” progress……….
Was made on this client’s quilt. It’s approx. 48” in diameter and has many bias edges in those stitchings!!!! The beginnings of this may be found here. The wings are the current areas being “feathered”………….. The pinkish … Continue reading
The “rest of the story”………
Is this beautiful ‘finish’ (which was gifted last Saturday)……. The photos, above/below, do not do it justice. The ‘eggplant’ color is so rich I can’t seem to capture it correctly. The very beginnings of this one may be found here … Continue reading
First steps……………….
In this next project (first shown at the end of this post), stabilizing the sandwich so that I can manipulate it under the needle of my Sweet 16 without the sandwich shifting or creating pleats/puckers somewhere in the initial process. … Continue reading

Monday Design Wall……Finish!!!………….
Yes, it’s finished (are you as glad as I am????)! All washed, dried and folded ready to head South with us. As you may (or may not) be aware, I reside in the “camp” of not pre-washing my fabric in … Continue reading
The next step………………..
Involves a bit more doodling to come up with a stitching design for the batik fabrics in my “Seeing Starz” quilt. The leafy feathers were so much fun, and very much “in my comfort zone” (love all kinds of feathers!!!!) … Continue reading

Questions……..
There have been several commenters asking about the ruler I used to create the grid pattern on the sampler quilt I’m currently working on. The ruler works with both DSM (domestic sewing machines) and mid/long arm machines. Rather than the … Continue reading
